The Reading Railroad Class I-10sa is a Class of 50 2-8-0 Consolidation Type Steam locomotives built in 1923 by the Baldwin locomotive Works numbered 2000-2049 were built to pull heavy freight trains at 45-55 Mph. Between 1945 and 1947 the Reading Railroad rebuilt 30 out of 50 I-10sa Class 2-8-0 Consolidation Types in to Class T1 4-8-4 Northern’s those being locomotives numbered 2020-2049 were rebuilt to T1 4-8-4 Northern Type’s . Locomotive numbered 2020 became Reading T1 numbered 2100 and 2021 became 2101 and 2022 became 2102 and 2023 became 2103 and the others numbered 2024-2049 became 2104-2129 . And remained in service until retired between 1954 and 1957 . The rest of the I-10sa 2-8-0 Consolidation Types were Scrapped from 1949-1952 . Today 2100,2101,2102 and 2124 were still preserved.
